Hello, welcome to Jiangyin Himei Metal New Material Co., Ltd. website!

How to choose the substrate and color film of the laminated steel plate correctly

Generally, the selection of coated steel plates can be carried out according to the following aspects:

1. Selection of substrate (substrate strength, galvanizing amount and surface finishing, etc.)

2. Selection of color film (color, performance and use of color film)

The substrates can be cold-rolled substrates, electro-galvanized substrates, hot-dip galvanized substrates, and galvanized steel sheets, but materials with appropriate mechanical properties need to be selected according to different uses.

Electro-galvanized substrate

The coated steel plate of the electro-galvanized substrate is protected by a zinc layer, and its corrosion resistance is higher than that of the cold-rolled substrate, and its processing performance is better than that of hot-dip galvanizing due to the thin zinc layer (generally, the zinc content is 20g/m2).

When making products and components that require corrosion resistance, it is possible to consider the use of electroplated galvanized steel sheets as the substrate. Such as the inner and outer components of air conditioners, washing machines or refrigerator shells; interior decoration walls, furniture, lighting equipment, signs, etc.

Hot dip galvanized substrate

The hot-dip galvanized substrate can be selected according to the amount of galvanizing, the morphology of the zinc layer and the surface finish.

1. Galvanized quantity

Different galvanizing amounts are selected according to the different use environments. The galvanizing amount of the hot-dip galvanized sheet used for lamination is usually 180 g/m2 (double-sided), and 275 g/m2 is the best choice for industrial and coastal areas. The amount of galvanizing (double-sided).

2. Surface finishing of zinc layer morphology

The formability of zinc-iron alloy hot-dip galvanized sheet is worse than that of ordinary hot-dip galvanized sheet, so in general, ordinary hot-dip galvanized sheet is used as the substrate. Usually ordinary spangle, small spangle and hot-dip galvanized sheet without spangle can be used as substrate. and straightening.

Aluminum plate substrate

Aluminum plates are mostly used as substrates for houses and walls. Aluminum has better corrosion resistance. Under similar conditions, the life of galvanized steel sheet with the same coating thickness is about four times that of galvanized steel sheet. Has a pleasing light silver grey finish.
