Gutters are the essential route for rainwater from roofs, fulfilling the crucial function of rapid drainage. However, they are also prone to leaks due to long-term water accumulation and debris accumulation. Traditional gutter waterproofing often relies on waterproof coatings or single membranes, which are prone to peeling and cracking under water flow and temperature fluctuations.
Himei Waterproof Tile has designed a “double protection system” for gutters: a highly weather-resistant TPO membrane is laid as a base layer at the bottom of the gutter, with the membranes heat-welded to create a complete seal. The junction between the tile surface drain opening and the gutter is covered with a custom material, and a heat-welding process is used to fuse the tile surface, membrane, and gutter into a single unit. This “seamless” design ensures smooth drainage and remains absolutely waterproof even in extreme conditions such as heavy rain and snowmelt, eliminating the embarrassing situation of water seeping into the gutter and causing damage outside.
