How to choose coated steel plate substrate in building materials and home appliance industries

Coated steel sheets for construction are typically based on hot-dip galvanized and hot-dip aluminum-zinc steel sheets. They are primarily processed into corrugated sheets or sandwich panels with polyurethane composites. These sheets are then used to construct roofs, walls, and doors for industrial and commercial buildings, such as steel factories, airports, warehouses, and freezers.

Coated steel sheets for home appliances are typically based on electrogalvanized and cold-rolled steel sheets. They are used in refrigerators and large air conditioning systems, freezers, toasters, and furniture.

Precautions for shearing coated steel sheets: When shearing, surfaces that come into contact with the coated steel sheets should be covered with rubber mats and kept clean. Minimize burrs on the cut surface. Chips and metal burrs generated during shearing should be promptly removed to prevent scratches on the coated steel sheets during stacking. Store the sheets indoors, away from water, and avoid outdoor storage. If exposed to rain and condensation occurs, unpack and remove moisture immediately and use as soon as possible. The coated steel sheets should be kept in their factory-fresh condition and should not be stored to avoid damage. During loading and unloading, special lifting equipment must be used to avoid collisions and strangulation.
