Why does fusion tile welding not leak?

TPO Fusion Tiles utilize hot air welding technology to create a seamless waterproof layer. Its seams are stronger than the material itself, effectively preventing leakage. This technology achieves waterproof performance by eliminating traditional overlap gaps through molecular-level fusion.

Welding Process Guarantee

Hot air welding firmly bonds the TPO waterproof layer to the metal backing, forming a continuous waterproof barrier. Experiments have shown that this structure can withstand a water pressure of 0.3 MPa for two hours without leakage, far exceeding national standards. The molten pool created during the welding process fuses the materials at the molecular level, eliminating the risk of leakage caused by traditional overlap gaps.

Material Support

TPO Fusion Tiles utilize thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) as the waterproof layer. Its elastic layer can adapt to structural deformation, with a tensile strength of ≥250 N/cm and an elongation at break of 500%, preventing cracking caused by material deformation. The metal backing provides impact resistance. The 0.6 mm steel plate backing combined with the TPO reinforcement layer can withstand an impact of 0.5 kg·m without leakage.
